Formic’s intelligent document recognition software, Fusion, will rapidly advance your business processes.
Most government organisations commit significant resources to the manual capture of information from documents sent by third parties or created internally.
Fusion automatically reads the information contained in documents whether on paper, Internet, tablet PCs or handheld devices then subjects each piece of data to a series of rigorous checks before transferring it to your enterprise applications. More than that, it will store an image of the original document alongside the extracted data, for instant retrieval.
Typical examples include housing and benefit applications and mobile solutions for housing officers and rent collectors.

Newham’s Neighbourhood Information Management System NIMS is an online statistics and information portal that is based on an innovative data sharing concept that has been agreed between the Council and its partners.
Partners include Newham Primary Care Trust, the Police, Fire Brigade and the Voluntary Sector. First launched in March 2004, version 3 is due to go live in April 2007. It is currently funded by NRF.
NIMS stores data from various agencies and allows it to be presented in a variety of formats and combinations to enable evidence based decision-making. NIMS signposts users to appropriate resources to enable the identification of issues and do further research in a way that accesses up-to-date data, avoids duplication and engages the local community in decision making.
